I absolutly love watching shuttle launches, even if its billions of our tax dollars being burned up in the atmosphere. Still, I think its amazing that it can go 72 miles in less than 3 minutes, and it weighs millions of tons.
Although, it is kind of a primitive idea: Strap a gigantic shell of explosive gas on your back, ignight it, and wish for the best. Haha. You figure they would have thought of something else in the last 70 years.
I cant wait till nasa reveals some of their solar sail expierements. I hear they could get to mars in like a month or two if they build a laser space station of some sort around mars. I just hope that I can look down at earth some day. That would be AMAZING!
