ok, so every one knows about the awesomo from south park but im sure none of you know it was based on the honda asimo. i have seen a few different “brands” of robots and artificial intellegence at different conferences and trade shows and, well, they are amazing haha. they really are super close to creating true artifical intellegence. im sure it will happen in our lifetimes.
with that in mind, what happens when we want to turn one off and it says that it wants to stay turned on. im sure well use them as slaves as usual. but do you think robots will deserve the right to life and self perserverence? i say we start fighting for robot rights before we even reach ai.
