Japanese curry with chicken tenders and rice
Hey there! So, I’ve decided to give the Fediverse a go and see what all the hype is about. To be honest, I’m not exactly sure what kind of content I’ll be sharing here yet, but I imagine it’ll be a mix of whatever happens to be occupying my mind or my time. Expect some glimpses into my hobbies and projects, because, while I’m a software engineer by day, my free time is filled with plenty of things that bring me joy and keep me busy.
When I’m not buried in code, you can usually find me spending time with my kids, which is always an adventure. Whether we’re playing outside, watching movies, or just chatting about whatever’s on their minds, being a dad is a huge part of my life. Beyond that, I’m really into making beats, so music production will probably come up here and there. It’s one of my favorite creative outlets, and I’m always tinkering with new sounds or experimenting with software and hardware.
Oh, and I can’t forget about my plants! I’m no expert gardener, but I find it really satisfying to grow my own food and watch something evolve from a tiny seed into a full-fledged plant. So, you’ll probably see updates on my gardening journey too—maybe some tips, or just pics of what’s growing in my backyard.
Another one of my passions is cooking, especially experimenting in the kitchen. I love trying new recipes and pushing myself to create interesting, sometimes unexpected dishes. From simple meals to more complicated creations, cooking is where I unwind, and there’s always something new to try.
To kick things off, here’s a little peek into one of my weekend projects: a loaf of homemade whole wheat bread I baked from scratch. It turned out pretty well—crispy on the outside, soft and hearty on the inside. Baking bread is one of those things that always feels so rewarding. There’s something about the process—mixing, kneading, waiting for it to rise, and then the smell of it filling your home—that just makes it worth the effort. If you’re into baking or have ever thought about giving it a try, I highly recommend starting with whole wheat. It’s simple, wholesome, and tastes amazing when you’ve made it yourself.
That’s all for now. I’m excited to see where this Fediverse journey takes me, and hopefully, you’ll find something here that sparks your interest! Whether you’re here for bread recipes, plant tips, or just some random musings, I’m looking forward to sharing more soon.
